MANKATO, Minn. — Schmidt Siding & Window Co. announced Thursday it has received a Green Diamond Award, an accolade given to home improvement companies with exceptional records of customer service.
This is the second consecutive year Schmidts has earned the award, which was presented during the Renewal by Andersen® Summit from Jan. 29 - Feb. 2 in Huntington Beach, Calif. The distinction is given to Renewal by Andersen® affiliates with a 95% or better customer satisfaction and recommendation rating. Schmidts is one of the 15 locations that received the award out of 125 eligible locations.
“Receiving the award is special to us because it validates what we work toward all year long, and that is to provide an exceptional customer experience,” said Schmidts General Manager Pete Matejcek, who attended the Summit and accepted the award. “Internally we use the Green Diamond as a barometer to how we are carrying out our mission of ‘exceeding customer expectations and creating customers for life.’”
Schmidts has been selling and installing Renewal by Andersen® windows and patio doors since 1996 as one of its original affiliates. Matejcek noted that Renewal by Andersen® products have proven to be uniquely resilient, even standing up to Minnesota’s harsh winter weather conditions, which helps lead to satisfied customers.
