On Saturday, April 26, our team at Schmidt Siding and Window had the honor of coming together for something deeply meaningful—siding the new Bravo Zulu House, a sober-living home created to support local veterans as they transition back into civilian life.
It was a beehive of activity, with over 15 of our skilled craftsmen and women volunteering their Saturday to donate more than $80,000 in steel siding and expert labor. Together, we installed roughly 24 squares of siding and 350 feet of soffit and fascia. But the numbers are just part of the story—the real impact was felt in the camaraderie, purpose, and pride shared by everyone on site.

These are just a few of the voices from our crew who showed up not just with tools in hand, but with heart and intention. It was unbelievable to witness our team showcase their talent at such a high level, united by the simple goal of giving back to those who’ve given so much.
Why do we support Bravo Zulu? Because everyone deserves a second chance, and those who’ve served our country deserve our support. As a company rooted in family values and community care, we believe in using our skills to make a lasting difference, not just in homes, but in lives.
We’re grateful to Bravo Zulu House for inviting us to be part of this incredible mission, and we’re proud to stand behind the work being done to uplift our local veterans.
